Corneal Topography
The main function of a corneal topographer is to create a 3D topography map of the cornea (the clear, front window of the eye). This helps us to diagnose and monitor corneal conditions such as keratoconus, and also greatly assists with fitting contact lenses, especially hard (or RGP) lenses and OrthoK lenses. Our corneal topographer can also take photos and videos of the front surface of the eye to better assess and monitor dry eyes and other conditions that affect the front part of the eye.
Optical Coherence Tomography
OCT greatly assists in diagnosing and monitoring of glaucoma and macular diseases such as age related macular degeneration, and allows us to detect subtle changes over time.
Ultra Widefield Retinal Imaging
It is not only a valuable tool for detecting and diagnosing the earliest signs of retinal disease, it also allows us to compare images over time to look for even the most subtle of changes.
